Steel City Wood Type

Gothic Shadow

This beautiful gothic shadow is big, chunky, and has killer punctuation marks.

Condensed Mansard

This condensed Mansard face is one of the finest we’ve been able to find. Not shown in any specimen book we have at our disposal, it is unbelievably complete with uppercase, lowercase, figures, punctuation, and a full set of ligatures! (Update: our good friend David Wolske informed us that it is French Octagon from theĀ Morgans & Wilcox Mfg. Co.)

Columbus

This quirky serif face is listed in Hamilton’s 1907 catalog as Columbus. How about that “O”?
